All Things Must Pass (demo) — George Harrison
I actually prefer this and the Anthology version to the actual track. I enjoy the absence of the horns in both versions and absolutely LOVE the vulnerability and emotion in his voice that is easily filtered out during production. To me, this (and the Anthology version) sounds much more heartfelt and real.

George Harrison: fabbest of the four? →
Eric Idle tells how after Harrison was stabbed in his home by an intruder in 1999, he was being carried out by two medics who had only just started work. Harrison looked up from his stretcher and asked, “So what do you think of the job so far?”
Do I fucking love this man or what…I can’t wait to watch this documentary! The review is lengthy but good and doesn’t reveal too much about what’s in store (in other words, no real spoilers).
Playing tennis with Bob Dylan on the Isle of Wight in 1969. To Harrison, Dylan was both a friend and hero. “George used to hang over the balcony videoing Bob while Bob wasn’t aware of it,” said Tom Petty. “Bob would be sitting at the piano, playing, and George would tape it and listen to it all night.”

HBO to air George Harrison documentary →
HBO has scored the North American TV rights to George Harrison: Living in the Material World, produced by Martin Scorsese and featuring interviews with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Eric Clapton and Terry Gilliam, among others.
HBO has picked up the rights to the doc, which will air over two parts on October 5 and 6, from Olivia Harrison’s Grove Street Pictures. The film was produced by Scorsese through his Sikelia Productions banner, together with Harrison and Nigel Sinclair of Exclusive’s documentary label, Spitfire Pictures. The film chronicles Harrison’s life, much of it told in his own words, from his musical beginnings in Liverpool through his time as a musician, spiritual seeker, philanthropist and filmmaker.
Martin Scorsese’s George Harrison Doc To See Release By End Of Year →
George‘s widow, Olivia Harrison was at the fifth anniversary performance of the Beatles/Cirque du Soleil collaboration Love, where she was asked about the project’s current status. She said that the release date should be announced “sometime soon,” but at least clarified that it would happen this year. It may very well be completed, as she mentioned that she “just came from New York” and that on Monday she’s “going to see it again.”
