SO THIS IS ACTUALLY REAL

Some Roger-isms in the book include:

When a man gets to a point in his life when his name’s on the building,

For me, the most important question from the finale would be “Why the hell didn’t Roger make fun of Don?”  Golden opportunity missed, Mr. Sterling!

I used to always find some sympathy for Betty but now she’s just a bitch and I hate how she became that way.  Grow the fuck up, woman!

“I hope she knows that you only like the beginnings of things.”

HBICs…more moments like this next season would be great.

What did I just watch…?

“You know she reminds me of you.”  <— Just kill me already with that line!

I know it’s only October, but this would make for a great Christmas present, just saying!  I find it hard to think of any Mad Men fan who is not aware of Dyna Moe’s art.

Absolutely agree with everything. I kind of thought the whole Faye praise came out of nowhere. Really, writers? We’re supposed to buy this hero worship all of a sudden? And I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t remember Midge if it wasn’t b/c I’m rewatching S1.

TRUTH.  That scene wouldn’t seem so odd if those two actually spent time together on-screen.

Any idea on what next week will be about?  I saw some leaked photos a couple of weeks ago and since those scenes never showed up in the episodes I’ve seen so far, now I know that they’ll be in the finale.  I just don’t know what context they are in.

OHMIGOD YES. I’m not gonna lie - I loved the whole ad concept and that he donated money to Pete. NEVER DOUBT WITH THE MAD MEN WRITERS.

I have to say I am disappointed in one thing though…for all of Peggy’s talk about Faye and how it seems that she looks up to her and admired her, I think we only got like two scenes with the two of them together.  I wish that relationship had been explored a lot more, especially since Faye could very well affect Peggy in the way that Bobbie Barrett did.

Oh yeah, by the way, Midge…I don’t miss you at all.  Rachel, on the other hand…

Shit just got real…and just when I nearly lost all hope with Don, he somewhat redeems himself!

I’m so proud of it. It’s weird how proud I am of my bitchface.

Apologies for the lack of updates

I am still sick.  I would, however, like to say a couple of things:

• New followers, thanks for tuning in.  I always seem to get new followers when I’m not posting (not sure if that’s a good or bad thing), but hopefully when I’m feeling better in a couple of days you’ll actually remember why you started following me in the first place.
• Tonight’s Mad Men episode has cemented its place as one of my all-time favorites.  IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.  Make room for me on the Don/Peggy ship, please!  It’s official, I am rooting for them.  Sorry, Pete/Peggy.
• BERT COOPER LITERALLY HAS NO BALLS.
• Joey is so cute (obligatory mention).
• NOT ENOUGH JOAN.
• Anna :(  My brother and I were just talking about her eventual death yesterday and we were debating how the show would handle it (he thought that it wasn’t going to be a focal point and it would just happen offscreen and I thought that Don would actually show up at her death bed and say goodbye in person).  Turns out he was right!  I could have done without that hallucination though, but I can attribute that to Don being drunk and what not.

Okay, back to more bed rest, books, and cough drops…
