Rave On — M. Ward featuring Zooey Deschanel (Buddy Holly cover)
One of my very favorite Buddy Holly covers. I love how M. Ward made it sound so different by slowing it down and turning it into like a chill out song, a nice contrast to the upbeat original.

I can’t reiterate enough how much I love the sound of George’s vocals live in the earlier days. I think he forgot a couple of the words later on in the song :)
